Caroline qualified as a solicitor in 2006 after a litigation-biased training contract.  She then practised with Walker Morris in their Commercial Dispute Resolution department for four years before moving to Fox to grow its litigation capability in June 2011.

Caroline has dealt with a broad range of commercial disputes including shareholder and partnership disputes, warranty claims, breaches of fiduciary duty, commercial contract disputes and claims for misrepresentation, mistake and professional negligence.  She has brought complex matters to a successful conclusion following a trial or alternative dispute resolution methods (including mediation, expert determination and arbitration).  Caroline uses her knowledge and understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules to secure a tactical advantage for her clients.  Her ability to think strategically, using alternative dispute resolution where appropriate, is key to delivering cost-effective outcomes for clients.

In an employment law context, Caroline has acted in a number of restrictive covenant cases, acting for employers in circumstances where senior employees have allegedly misappropriated their former employer's information and solicited their customers.  Caroline has obtained injunctions to restrain such activity and orders to return confidential information.  She has worked on applications for freezing injunctions, search and seize injunctions and harassment / nuisance injunctions.
