Kirryn West James joined Fox in 2014. Prior to working at Fox, Kirryn practised at a specialist employment law firm in Sydney. She studied a double degree in Law and Business at the University of Newcastle and was admitted as a solicitor of the New South Wales Supreme Court in 2009.
In her experience Kirryn has worked with corporate clients and executive employees across various industry sectors. Kirryn’s litigation experience includes cases in the Courts and Tribunals regarding breach of contract, unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, workplace agreements and health and safety prosecutions.
Kirryn also has experience in advising on employment issues including termination of employment, redundancy, organisational change, discrimination, workplace bullying, ill employees, post-employment restrictions and preparing employment documentation.
Kirryn was a co-contributor to the publication Managing Workplace Behaviour: a Best Practice Guide and has had articles published in HR magazines and journals.
Kirryn enjoys client training and has delivered training sessions on management obligations, hiring and firing, terms and conditions of employment, drafting contracts, health and safety, discrimination and performance management.
