Kirryn West James joined Fox & Partners in 2014. Prior to working at Fox & Partners, Kirryn practised at a specialist employment law firm in Sydney. She studied a double degree in Law and Business at the University of Newcastle and was admitted as a solicitor of the New South Wales Supreme Court in 2009.
In her experience Kirryn has worked with corporate clients, executive employees and partners on contentious and non-contentious matters. Kirryn’s experience includes advising on workplace issues including termination of employment, redundancy, discrimination, workplace bullying, team moves, post-employment restrictions and preparing employment documentation.
Kirryn also has litigation experience including cases in the Courts and Tribunals regarding breach of contract, unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, workplace agreements.
Kirryn was a co-contributor to the publication Managing Workplace Behaviour: a Best Practice Guide and has had articles published in HR magazines and journals.
Kirryn is a member of the Association of Partnership Practitioners (Committee Member of the Up & Coming Committee) and Employment Lawyers Association.
