Ligia is a Senior Associate and an experienced litigation specialist who advises clients on dispute resolution and employment matters. She has a particular interest in partnership and shareholder disputes, as well as matters relating to the theft of confidential information.

With a strong background in commercial litigation, Ligia advises on a broad range of disputes arising from both business relationships and personal matters, including conflicts between partners, LLPs and their members, as well as between company shareholders and directors.

Ligia’s practice covers contractual and tortious disputes across a wide variety of contexts, including breach of warranty, shareholder disputes, professional negligence claims, as well as civil fraud, and asset recovery.

She has acted for a wide range of clients, including banks and other financial institutions, companies, partnerships, LLPs, directors, and high-net-worth individuals.

Ligia has experience at all levels of the English court system, from the County Court to the Supreme Court and the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, as well as in international arbitration proceedings. In particular, Ligia has significant experience in litigation matters conducted in the High Court.

Qualified as a solicitor in the UK in 2010, Ligia has since gained extensive experience in handling a broad spectrum of international and domestic disputes. She also spent over three years at the Gibraltar office of specialist litigation boutique Signature Litigation, where she was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Gibraltar.

She is fluent in Romanian and English.
