Fox & Partners has announced the launch of a series of breakfast briefings which will focus on the business, legal and cultural aspects of people management. The first event on 12 February is entitled “The Art of the Team Move: The business dynamics, the law and the cultural impact”, and will feature speakers including:
- Luke Williams OBE, CEO of global recruitment specialist Ignata, who will be sharing his extensive experience of putting team moves together and how to make them work
- Victoria Lewis, Chief Executive of byrne·dean training, who will examine how to manage change and handle cultural differences
- Catriona Watt, Partner at Fox & Partners, who will address navigating the legal issues
Commenting on the launch of the series, Fox & Partners partner Ivor Adair says: “We’re aware from talking to clients that the people management issues that they see in their organisations have implications that go way beyond employment law. An integrated approach needs to combine understanding and skills in business strategy, change management and cultural issues, as well as the law, so we are launching these breakfast briefings to address a range of HR issues in a holistic and perhaps unconventional way.
