Fox & Partners’ research into problems with whistleblowing procedures has been quoted in an article in Financial News on the FCA’s new campaign, ‘In confidence, with confidence’, which encourages individuals working in financial services to report potential wrongdoing to the FCA, and reminds them of the confidentiality processes in place.
Our research, published in late 2020, found there had been a 61% jump in complaints to the FCA from individuals concerned about the whistleblowing procedures at their firms to 71 complaints in the last year up from 44 the year before.
